About Roslyn
Roslyn is a proud young adult cancer survivor who knows the power of emotional resilience in the face of change, challenge and adversity. She was born to a mother who survived the concentration camps in Nazi Germany and a father who survived the atomic bomb in Nagasaki, Japan, as a prisoner of war.
When diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer at the young of age 29, Roslyn quickly learned she inherited her parents' "NEVER GIVE UP" attitude as she herself fought back to become a long-term survivor.
Then age 39, at her heaviest weight and concerned for her health, Roslyn decided to fight back once again - only this time to win her battles with food, stress and lifestyle challenges, once and for all!
As a world-class Motivational & Inspirational Keynoter and Speaker and best-selling author of The A List: 9 Guiding Principles for Healthy Eating and Positive Living, Roslyn now shares her parents' compelling survival stories, insights from her cancer journey and the proven life principles and practical wisdom that have helped thousands of people world-wide live a healthier, happier and more resilient life.
Roslyn is best known for delivering captivating keynotes, powerful presentations and winning workshops for corporations, associations, non-profits, hospitals, schools and other groups seeking to promote healthy lifestyle and positive living practices to their participants.
In addition to being a cancer survivor, speaker and author, Roslyn is also a personal coach, providing coaching services for individuals, couples and groups seeking to lighten up in body, mind and spirit. Roslyn is also a radio personality as host of the popular How to Thrive after 35 Radio Show and co-author of Death Can Wait: Stories from Cancer Survivors, a fundraising book for cancer research and cancer patient programs.
Organizations, individuals and the media alike now seek Roslyn for her powerful insights, practical strategies and positive inspiration to live a healthy, happy and resilient life in the face of change, challenge and adversity.
She has a Masters degree in Human Systems Intervention (the study of how people self-learn and change as individuals and in groups) from Concordia University in Montreal, Certification in Organizational Psychology with a focus on Executive Coaching through the Professional School of Psychology in California and MBTI® Personality Type Assessment Qualification from Psychometrics Canada.
