July 6, 2008 - Book Signing at MEET-AUTHORS-IN-THE-PARK, Noon - 5:00pm
at the Stittsville Village Square Park at the southeast corner of Abbott and Stittsville Main Streets, Stittsville, Ontario. Admission is free.

Have a chance to talk to dozens of local writers and learn about the writers' world and perhaps purchase an autographed book or two. Furthermore, lucky attendees who donate 'a toonie or more' for a ticket may have a chance to receive a book from a participating author by hourly draws. Money collected will be given to the Stittsville Branch of the City of Ottawa Library for the purchase of books, supplies and equipment for the children's section.

Come and support the Stittsville Branch of the Ottawa Public Library and help local authors, while enjoying a special event where we can take pride in the talent that is in our region and our community.

Honorary Chair is Councillor Shad Qadri, who will open this unique cultural event, a first for Stittsville but for the entire the City of Ottawa. Qadri invites one and all to come and support the Stittsville Branch of the Ottawa Public Library, while extending help and encouragement to authors.
